News: Two Zeldas, One Adventure

Don’t we all miss playing our favorite games on Gameboy Color and wish that we could keep them for a better purpose? Even the two best Zelda Games like “Oracle of Ages” and “Oracle of Season” that got everyone to play their Gameboys every day. So, Zelda fans, get ready! Because The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Zelda and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Season have returned, but this time, they arrive in the Nintendo eShop for the 3DS and, they’re only $4.99 each – until June 20, 2013

Play as Link, travel through time and change seasons in these two interconnected games, considered the pinnacle of 2-D Zelda gameplay. Play both to unlock special content, including a final boss battle throughout the game. But that’s not all – the package comes with a Virtual Console Menu that allows you to pause in the menu display. The menu changes depending on whether the restore-point feature has been activated or deactivated. It can let you save your game progress and your complete game state, instead of using the regular save game – a la the erstwhile Gameboy Color. Restore-points data is replaced every time you create a new restore point. That way, you restart where you save. You will never have to buy any batteries or worry about turning the game off ever again. Even when you’re in the middle of the boss fight, where you’d normally have trouble saving without your parents telling you to turn it off.

Get it while the price lasts.
